Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using PokeRepair mail-in services or account features.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PokeRepair website at centrd.app, our mobile-friendly web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by PokeRepair ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, placing a mail-in order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, including the disclaimers, limitations of liability, and assumption-of-risk provisions in Sections 7, 9, 11, 14, and 15. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you place a mail-in order, you represent that you have read and understood that PokeRepair is not responsible for paying the full market, graded, replacement, or sentimental value of any card except as expressly and narrowly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law.
2. What PokeRepair provides
PokeRepair offers digital and physical services for Pokémon trading card collectors, including:
- Mail-in Deep Clean, Full Restoration, and bulk volume submissions
- Order tracking and account features for registered users
3. What we do not do
PokeRepair is not a grading company and does not submit cards to PSA, BGS, CGC, or any other third-party grading service on your behalf. After mail-in work we return your card packed for your own submission.
We do not guarantee any specific grade, crossover result, or market value outcome. Any automated or technician estimates shown in the Service (including historical scan reports, when available) are informational only — not official grader opinions.
PokeRepair is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, PSA, Beckett (BGS), CGC, or any card manufacturer or grading company.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or place a paid mail-in order. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
You represent that you have the legal right to submit any card images or physical cards you send to us, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.
5. Accounts and guest use
You may place certain mail-in orders as a guest without an account, subject to limits we enforce by device, session, or IP address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit fraudulent orders, or misuse the Service.
6. Informational tools and shared links
From time to time we may offer informational tools (including photo-based assessments). Any such outputs are estimates only and may be inaccurate; always verify visually before making financial decisions.
If you generate a share link for content in the Service, anyone with that link may view what you chose to share. Do not share links you do not want others to access.
7. Mail-in services
When you place a mail-in order, you agree to the service tier, declared value, and fees shown at checkout, including service fees, optional slab removal, and return shipping and insurance.
You are responsible for accurately declaring card value and condition, selecting the appropriate service, and packing cards securely (penny sleeve, toploader, immobilized in transit). We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate inbound packaging, carrier handling on inbound shipments, or pre-existing defects that are not caused by our work.
Turnaround times shown on the Service are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to shipping carriers, inspection findings, or workload.
If you request slab removal from a PSA, BGS, or CGC holder, you understand this permanently voids the existing grade on that holder.
Our restoration work uses non-additive techniques only. We do not repaint, trim, coat, fill missing stock, or add foreign material. Cosmetic improvement does not ensure acceptance by any grader.
By submitting a physical card for mail-in services, you voluntarily send personal property to us at your own risk. You acknowledge that cleaning, restoration, handling, inspection, photography, repackaging, and return shipping involve inherent risks, and that no process can eliminate all risk of damage, loss, delay, or change in appearance or marketability.
8. Grading risk disclosure
Submitting any cleaned or restored card to a third-party grading company carries inherent risk. Graders may flag a card as altered (for example, PSA N-codes) and return it ungraded, which may affect market value.
Grading standards differ by company and change over time. PokeRepair is not responsible for any grade, alteration designation, rejection, or change in market value resulting from a third-party grader's evaluation.
9. Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the cosmetic result of our mail-in restoration work, contact us within 14 days of delivery. Where appropriate, we may offer a full refund of the service fees you paid to PokeRepair for that order. Satisfaction refunds are limited to PokeRepair service charges and do not include shipping, insurance, declared-value shortfalls, third-party fees, or any amount representing the market, graded, replacement, or sentimental value of your card.
Satisfaction remedies do not apply to shipping delays caused by carriers, damage or loss covered by Section 11, or outcomes after you submit a card to a third-party grader.
Accepting a satisfaction refund, where offered, is your sole and exclusive remedy from PokeRepair for dissatisfaction with cosmetic restoration results, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Pricing and payment
Prices are displayed before you complete an order. Value-tiered fees may apply based on declared card value. We may change prices prospectively; changes do not affect orders already accepted.
Optional digital credits or subscriptions, when offered, are subject to the limits and pricing shown in the Service. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable except as we expressly allow, and may expire or be adjusted if we detect abuse.
When paid checkout is enabled, payment processing may be provided by third-party processors (such as Stripe). By paying through the Service at that time, you also agree to the applicable processor terms.
11. Shipping, custody, damage, loss, and card-value limitations
Return shipping and insurance are calculated at checkout based on declared value and order contents. Insurance limits, exclusions, deductibles, and carrier terms apply and are determined by the applicable carrier or insurer, not by PokeRepair. Optional or included insurance does not create an obligation for PokeRepair to pay you the full declared, fair market, graded, replacement, or sentimental value of any card.
You are responsible for inbound shipping to our facility unless we expressly provide a prepaid label. You bear the risk of loss or damage during inbound transit unless applicable law provides otherwise. Keep tracking records and proof of shipment for cards you send to us.
While a card is in transit to us, in our possession, or in transit back to you, we will exercise reasonable care in handling it. However, cards are fragile collectible items subject to many risks, including shipping mishandling, environmental conditions, manufacturing defects, prior damage, holo scratching, edge wear, warping, ink lift, and other condition changes that may occur despite reasonable care.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PokeRepair, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, THEFT OF, OR DELAY INVOLVING ANY SUBMITTED CARD, INCLUDING DAMAGE OR LOSS CAUSED BY CARRIERS, PACKAGING FAILURES, ACTS OF GOD, LABOR DISPUTES, GOVERNMENT ACTION, OR OTHER EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PokeRepair WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM THAT SEEKS RECOVERY OF THE FULL VALUE OF A CARD, INCLUDING FAIR MARKET VALUE, GRADED VALUE, INSURANCE REPLACEMENT VALUE, RESALE VALUE, INVESTMENT VALUE, OPPORTUNITY COST, OR EMOTIONAL OR SENTIMENTAL VALUE. YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT OUR FEES REFLECT THE LIMITED NATURE OF THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE AND THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY DESCRIBED IN THESE TERMS.
If you believe a card was lost or damaged while in our custody and that loss or damage was directly caused by our negligence, your exclusive monetary remedy against PokeRepair is limited to the least of: (a) the service fees you paid PokeRepair for that specific card or order (excluding taxes and pass-through shipping or insurance charges unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing); (b) the net insurance proceeds actually recovered for that shipment, if any; or (c) your declared value for that card as shown in the accepted order, except where a lower amount is required by law.
You agree that declared value is a pricing and insurance input chosen by you, not a binding admission of actual value, and that PokeRepair has no obligation to pay declared value, market value, or any substitute-value amount except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by law.
Any claim relating to loss, damage, delay, or condition of a mailed card must be submitted to [email protected] within 14 days after delivery, expected delivery, or the date you knew or should have known of the issue, together with reasonable documentation (photos, tracking, order number, and packaging evidence). Failure to provide timely notice may limit or bar recovery to the extent permitted by law.
By placing a mail-in order, you release PokeRepair from claims for card-value compensation beyond the limits in this Section 11 and Section 15, except where such release is prohibited by law.
12. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented cards or images
- Declare false card values or misrepresent card condition or grading status
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harass our team or other users
- Circumvent access controls or abuse promotional features
13. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, report formats, and content we create, is owned by PokeRepair or our licensors. Pokémon and related trademarks belong to their respective owners.
You retain ownership of your card images and cards. You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and use submitted images and order information solely to operate and improve the Service, fulfill orders, and provide support.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free analysis, or specific financial outcomes from grading or selling cards.
We do not warrant that any card will survive shipping, handling, cleaning, or restoration without change; that any defect can be corrected; or that any card will achieve a particular grade, sale price, or market outcome.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PokeRepair AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY LOSS OF CARD VALUE, GRADED VALUE, MARKET VALUE, OR OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Without limiting Section 11, PokeRepair will not be liable for any amount representing the full value of a submitted card or collection, nor for any claim that the card should be treated as a total loss payable at market, replacement, or declared value.
Subject to Section 11 and except where prohibited by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) the total service fees you paid to PokeRepair for the specific order or scan giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD $100.
Multiple claims will not expand this limit. Any remedy you receive from a carrier, insurer, payment processor, or other third party will reduce any corresponding recovery from PokeRepair to the extent of overlap.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as certain consumer rights where mandatory).
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PokeRepair and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your misuse of the Service; inaccurate or incomplete declarations; cards or images you submit; your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or any dispute between you and a third party (including grading companies, marketplaces, insurers, or carriers) relating to your cards.
17. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Except where prohibited, you agree that disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
